Diana's Interview

1-When did you think about it, to write a novel? Was it like a dream?
Diana: It was a spontaneous decision. I never thought I would become a writer. I studied International Law and got a Master of Law degree. Then one day, I thought “WHY NOT?...” I started writing my first book, which was Love Lines. And when the book was finished, I loved the result! Since then I have written 17 more books, and I’m not going to stop writing :) Especially now that I have so many readers from all over the world, waiting for my new stories :) Two of my books have been translated into Spanish: Shattered (Corazon Herido) and Louise (Louise). Louise is going to be published on January 31st and you can pre-order it for $ 0.99.

2-What is your favourite genre? Are all your novels of the same genre that you like?
Diana: I like romances, contemporary and fantasy. And I write both :)

3-As the eyes are the mirror of the soul... Are your novels a reflexion of yourself? Is the main character like you?
Diana: My books are the reflexions of my soul, it’s true. I put a lot of my thoughts and emotions into my stories. I like writing about what I feel. As for my characters… Each of them has something familiar in their personalities :)

4- Do you have any habbits as a writer? (Maybe an exact time to write, favorite pencil or pen, writing routine...)
Diana: I like writing in the morning. And I can’t write without coffee :) Sometimes I do notes on paper, but every time I start writing a new chapter, I change everything I have planned on paper :) I like writing in silence, it helps me concentrate and focus on the story.

5-What is your favourite book / author? Will you read the same novel twice if you liked it?
Diana: I don’t have a favorite book, I have dozens of favorite stories :) P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern, Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins, Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren, and many more. And yes, if I like a book, I will read it many times :) I never get tired of reading my favorite stories.

6- Any advice you would like to give to the aspiring authors?
Diana: Write stories that make you feel happy, the kind of stories that you would like to read one day.

7- Your favorite quote.
Diana: “One day the world will make sense, but then it will no longer matter. Live in the chaos, dance in the rain and enjoy not knowing… As long as one person forever speaks my name I will live forever.”
